A list of delinquent accounts is sent to the Logan Township Tax Collector, notices are sent out, and the list is published in the newspaper. Therefore, delinquent charges for the previous year are subject to a tax sale held by Logan Township each year. Tax SaleĪuthority fees are a charge against the property and not a personal debt. Interest of 1.5% per month will be charged to any unpaid balances. Late PaymentĪny invoice unpaid after thirty (30) days of presentation shall be classified delinquent. There will be a charge of $35.00 for checks returned for insufficient funds. There is a $4.31 (effective ) service fee charged by ACI Payments if paying online. If paying by check, please reference your account number on your check. You may also pay online via credit or debit card through ACI Payments, Inc, by clicking here. You have several options for making payment. You may mail in a check or money order, come to our business office and pay by cash, check or money order, or pay through your bank's online bill pay. Authority service payments are due before the last day of the billing month. Click here to see an example of one of our bills. You can also sign up for E-Billing to receive your bill via e-mail. (You will no longer receive the card bills in the postal mail.) Payment The Authority will continue to strive to lower or at least stabilize the rates in the future.Ĭurrently the Authority sends out quarterly bills every February, May, August and November. Since 1999, the Authority has decreased the authority rates three times which is unheard of in today's economic climate. The Authority Board of Commissioners and Staff strive to do their best to keep the authority service charges to a minimum without sacrificing service or environmental compliance.
